This clubs hold the title of the First Triple Paul Harris Fellow Club in the World! They are also a world class Rotary club that since its inception on the 17th June 1986, has been rendering humanitarian Services to the community and has brought hope and relief to scores of underprivileged people. Club President Chatterji and several members of the club traveled with our group to the Piyali Junction. During the 6 hour ride (each way) we learned all about the club. We were all impressed not only with all the projects in their own community, but that they are actively involved with an eye clinic in Africa. One may assume that clubs in these areas of great need give only to the local community. But they, as all the clubs we met, give to projects outside of their own community and are shining example of what a Rotary club is. They are working on rotary projects every weekend!
