This 3 year old club meets at the Omni, while attendance was down today the group was enthusiastic and full of questions. I presented the Last Hurdle video (yes, the speakers worked today) and took questions. Two Rotarians from other local clubs were attending as make ups. The food was good, especially the danish.
The club is in the process of collecting food for the Food Bank and will be collecting for another week. The 4th Annual Winter Gala and Snowflake Ball to benefit the ARC of the Virginia Peninsula which will be held on December 10th is a project close to this club. They still have room for sponsors and tickets available for the event contact Susan Lacroix at slacroix@tpi.com
President Richard was very welcoming and I very much appreciate the donation to The ARC in my name. I did not have my camera and such will post a picture later; thank you Kevin for snapping a shot with your cell phone.
